What Medicare Doesn’t Cover?

Which health services Medicare A and B don't cover.
Medicare won't cover these health services.

Health Services Not Covered by Medicare

Medicare Part B (Medical Insurance) only pays 80% of your Medical costs such as physician care. You are responsible for the 20% left over.

There is no Annual Limit on your Medicare Part B costs.

Medicare Part A (Hospital Insurance) has deductibles and copays when you are hospitalized.

Medicare doesn’t cover most dental, vision care, hearing exams and hearing aids or most chiropractic care.

These are private insurance plans. They are also known as Medicare Part C and they include your Part A, B and in some cases, your D benefits.

These are standardized plans with a monthly premium. They cover some or all of your out of pocket expenses not paid by Medicare A and B. How much they cost and cover depends on which plan you enroll in.

There are many to choose from, with varying costs and benefits. If you want to continue using your dentist, I will check which plans he accepts.
